Everybody, from fantasy players to the Detroit Lions expected Mealey to be the featured back in Ahman Green’s absence, but Najeh Davenport got most of the carries and looked solid, rushing for 84 yards in 22 attempts. Should Green miss another game or two Davenport will only become better and more confident. Pick him up in deep leagues or as insurance if you own Green.
