The regular season is over, and once again, it was a memorable one. Peyton Manning broke the single-season TD mark; hitherto much-criticized Drew Brees led the Chargers into the playoffs; Curtis Martin won the rushing title, beating out Shaun Alexander by a mere yard; the Steelers evoked memories of the Iron Curtain … in other words, it was another great year to be a football fan and a fantasy player.
The Fantasy Football Cafe team would like to thank everybody for your interest in the Start & Sit column and for your valuable feedback, and we hope you enjoyed this place and could gain the edge in your league. Like the regular season, this column is closing down for now; if you have questions concerning who to start or who to bench during the playoffs, please see the Who to Start/Bench section of the forums for advice.

Fantasy Football Cafe’s Start & Sit lists are suggestions intended to give fantasy football players an edge in their weekly matchups. Savvy owners will see these lists not as an absolute ranking, but as an indication of possible outcomes of a given week, and use them together with their own opinions and hunches to field the lineup that will give their team the greatest odds of winning. The Start & Sit lists are compiled by Dan Spazierer (not Madame Zelda). For more insights and additional fine-tuning, visit our Who to Start/Bench forum section.
