In the world of fantasy football, dynasty leagues are truly a breed apart. This is never more apparent than during the initial draft, when tried-and-true veterans such as Brett Favre and Jimmy Smith often remain on the board far longer than they would in single-season leagues, while owners snap up up-and-coming youngsters. In terms of draft day strategies, it’s truly an entirely different ballgame.
The following mock showcases the unique ins and outs of the dynasty format as twelve fantasy vets try to draft a team that won’t just contend this season, but is built to last as well.
As with any mock draft, the drafters’ preferences and team needs obviously play a role in their respective choices, and a player’s rank might therefore vary from what you might expect from a cheat sheet compiled outside of actual draft conditions.
