Cafe Pod Week 1: Are You Ready? - 4 comments

By R.J. White

Welcome to the first of many (about 16) weekly fantasy football podcasts. Josh Shepardson and I deconstruct the common threads of our drafts and auctions before getting to a little waiver wire talk, including answering questions from the Cafe forums. We then identify our favorite fantasy D/ST stream options for Week 1 before playing a little Start/Sit with pairs of players who are closely ranked in the Week 1 rankings at Fantasy Pros. We wrap up with a few things to watch for in the first game of the season, including the Broncos running back who will score the most points in Week 1. Give us a listen and hit the forums to get your questions answered.

Hey R.J. just wondering if you are still going to do your weekly rankings this year in addition to the podcast?

    Hey R.J.
Still waiting for the rankings …

Would you start Kembrell Thomkins over Hakeem Nicks?

@Ted Spencer: Think I’d have to go Nicks there. Thompkins is still a fantasy unknown at this point. Love his upside, but I’d be hesitant to play him over good options till we see him in action.
