Cafe Pod Week 2: Pryor Assumptions

By R.J. White

It’s Week 2 of the Cafe Pod, where Josh and I discuss the huge rushing performance by Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor and whether or not he’s a top-end QB2 in fantasy leagues. We break down the Patriots-Bills matchup in our Featured Game of the Week, examining how the Patriots passing and rushing offense shook out before analyzing C.J. Spiller’s mediocre line.

We then hand out Fantasy Awards of the Week, both of the “best” and “worst” varieties, though LeSean McCoy’s fantastic Monday night performance obliterated our Rushing Performance of the Week (we recorded early Monday evening). Next, we look at some Waiver Saviors at each position, weighing the waiver-wire options this week. We also answer a few questions from the Cafe forums before moving on to our favorite streaming options for fantasy defenses. Finally, we wrap up with a look at the AFC North, where all four teams are tied for first and last with an 0-1 record.
