Cafe Pod Week 5: Falcons-Saints, Waiver Wire and More

By R.J. White

This week, we start off celebrating a big fantasy title before talking about the winless teams and who’s getting fired this week, if anyone. We then move on to the Patriots-Falcons game, gauging the values of Julian Edelman and Kenbrell Thompkins with injured starters getting close to action. We also tackle the New England and Atlanta running games, as well as the emergence of Tony Gonzalez. We then hand out the awards for the best and worst performances of the week, including debating how much value Philip Rivers can hold as well as our top-five tight end rankings over the rest of the season. We then find some waiver saviors, such as Brian Hoyer, Andre Ellington and Robert Woods. After a few Cafe questions, we close things out with our defensive streaming options of Week 5 and a guess at who’s going to be traded in the actual NFL next.
