You have left Jerious Norwood off of the RB rankings. I also believe you have Warrick Dunn ranked too high escpecially considering Norwood's talent. He will be the starter by mid-season at the latest.

I don't know if the rankings will do more harm than good posted as they are. There are some glaring issues with them in my opinion. I fully understand that this is opinion being posted but for a site to publish them as "Cafe Rankings" seems wrong to me. Ranking with only 4 owners can sku things dramatically if someone has an "odd" ranking. I will use Kitna as an example. Dan has him 27th, how, I do not know but it knocked him down a minimum of 4 spots. Not to mention Schaub putting up worse numbers then 5 non starters? How is that possible?

What about grabbing rankings from 2 or 3 trusted people and putting them in the mix, then eliminating the hi and low

I agree with you bungle. The rankings are ok, but some players are really off from what they should be. Also, I think if we had more people doing rankings, it would be a whole lot better. The more the merrier. If you guys do decide to have some more people rank, I'd be happy to be a part of it! ;-D

I'll comment from a Jets' perspective since it's what I know best. Coles and Cotchery finished 13th and 22nd in yards last season, both with 6 touchdowns. Here they're ranked 23 and 29?

Thomas Jones is a little too high. Leon Washington is way too low. Washington is still going to get 10-15 touches per game.

I'm a bit suprised only four people ended up submitting their rankings. In previous seasons, you were lucky if you were able to get in as one of the rankers.

Perhaps people are spending too much time playing mafia? :-? !+)

Anyways, I agree with most of the things said. I did indeed rank Norwood but you'll have to ask Joel why he was left off the final rankings.

One thing I'd like to add: I submitted my rankings about a month ago. Some things have changed, including my views on certain players. For example, I would have dropped Vick down a few spots with the whole dog-fighting scandal and bumped Trent Green up a little.

Its good that we have finally have some sort of rankings up there, but I think we should whip up a new batch, with more rankers, ASAP. ;-D

Because you were the only one to rank him ( :-/ ) and I didn't add players only ranked by one person. I will try to start a thread in Pencil and Paper tonight allowing people to assemble for an updated rankings that we might be able to get out before the season. That's assuming that we can get a decent amount of people ranking them soon.

Not to split hairs, but I ranked Norwood as well Joel. (He was 42nd on my list)

I agree with Boozie both that it's somewhat surprising (and a little disappointing) that only 4 rankers submitted lists, and that my rankings have changed a bit for some players since I submitted them.

Yeah, I guess I didn't notice that. This time I will do the rankings in such a way that it will be a) faster to get compiled and published and b) less confusing for everyone ranking players. ;-D

Washington has very little chance of getting 10-15 carries with Jones there now. Jones is a far better RB than anyone the Jets had last season and they didn't bring him in to split carries with Washington. Jones will be getting the ball 20 times a game at least and Washington might get some 3rd down duties and maybe 5 carries a game but I don't see him factoring in any more than that. Remember, Washington couldn't separate himself from Cedric Houston and Kevan Barlow last year....I don't see him cutting into a much more talented Thomas Jones' carries this year.
