A thread for the Ducks fans...all 3 of us. :-b

Who needs Terrell Pryor? We should be talking about Darron Thomas. ;-D
Also JC RB LaGarrette Blount has already signed a letter on intent to help fill the void J Stew left. ;-D ;-D

Oh, sweet! I love this about Thomas:

Ht: 6-foot-4
Wt: 195 lbs
Forty: 4.52 secs
Bench max: 260 pounds
Vertical: 39 inches
GPA: 3.3

And Blount is big, strong, runs a 4.5 40, and has a couple years JC experience. Thus, he could jump right in and make an immediate impact.

Yep...
I'm not ready for basketball either. :-b
Still in mourning over (1) the demise of the '07 Ducks and (2) the end of the NFL season... so we'll just skip right on to '08! :-D

Meh...
Basketball is a great game. It's fun to play and an excellent workout, but there are about four times a year I'm interested in watching:

1) If I'm there.
2) Ducks march madness
3) Blazers in the playoffs... DOH! !+)
4) NBA finals.

except for that... I'm kinda out.

So. DUCK FOOTBALL! Recruits. Ya, Mon! :-D
Keep me updated in here if you hear anything new!

DT Blake Ferras has signed a letter of intent. ;-D

I love this kid. LaGarrette Blount: Top RB out of JC.

Image

Between JJ, Andre Crenshaw and Blount, the void at RB is getting smaller.

QB...
I like what we got, but if we could land...

..that would be a big, "YA, MON!" :-D

Yeah everybody wants Pryor. :-b

I still say if he makes a visit to Eugene we have a legit shot at landing him but his window for visiting is closing. I think the other guys here are right he'll prolly end up a Buckeye.

At RB don't forget we also got a soft verbal from LaMichael James

Yeah... with Stewart and Dixon gone, I've been kinda concerned about 2008. But we got 7 starters on both sides of the ball returning, and a pretty dang good recruiting class. Good job by Belotti and the front office. I'm MORE THAN PLEASED that Oregon is on the map when it comes to big-time recruits.

But I still want Pryor! :-D

Can't wait to open Autzen (on my birthday) B-) vs Washington!!
And can't wait to visit Reiser and watch our boys return the favor to OS-ewe.

Geez... Like was said on 'the herd'...
There are two seasons: Football and waiting for football. :~(

Ain't that the truth! %-6 :-t :-b

Oregon does look promising next year with a lot of key starters returning and all the new prospects. But anytime a team is handing over the reigns at QB it's scary and rarely are the next couple seasons very successful. I'm hopeful and optimistic though. ;-D
