Trying to get Moreno. WHIR

Postby wyld stallions » Mon Aug 31, 2009 9:12 am

Ok, I was thinking of trying to trade LJohnson and LMoore for Moreno. I think he has great value and right now he is hurt so I may be able to get him at a lower price. We get to keep Rookies for next year so his value is pretty high in our league.

12 team, 2 Keeper league (one must be a rookie on your bench by week 3), ppr, h2h, 6pts/all tds, 1/30yrds passing, 1/10yrds rushing/receiving, 3 pts bonus for 300passing yrds/100rushing yrds/ 100 receiving yrds.

QB: Schaub, Hasselbeck, Orton
RB: AP, LT, LJ, Chester, Hightower, Benson
WR: Jennings, Bowe, Moore, Mason
TE: Olsen
K:
D: SD

I am prob. going to drop Orton for a kicker and I could pick up Morgan if the trade goes through. What do you think? Is it enough?

Normally I would think that you would be paying way too high for Moreno. However, if I understand this correctly and you have to have at least one rookie keeper, I think it would be a good trade. I imagine that would send the values for rookie players sky high, and you really almost need to have a good rookie on your team (which it looks like you do not currently have). But it would probably hurt your team value wise a bit for this season, seeing as though I don't like Moreno that much more than LJ this season alone and Moore should have another good season.

Which rookie do you see as having the most value, this and next year?

I have a question on trading LJ on this forum, and I'd like to know just what can be gotten for him.

He's shakey, a total flyer, Haley will be throwing a LOT and LJ's not a very good receiver.

If I had Moreno stashed I'm not sure I'd trade him for LJ, really.

I think you can get a WR3 or a total under the radar sleeper at RB and I don't think Moreno is that.

But I'd like to know what others think on this too.
