Im in a 12-team league that allows up to 2 keepers at insignificant cost during the draft (lose 11th and 12th rounders picks for the keepers).
My current roster, with players inelligible to be kept in italics:
QB
Shaun Hill
Tyler Thigpen
Marc Bulger
RB
Thomas Jones
Brian Westbrook
Correll Buckhalter
Justin Fargas
Mewelde Moore
WR/TE
Andre Johnson
Jerricho Cotchery
Wes Welker
Donnie Avery
Amani Toomer
Kellen Winslow
K
Ryan Longwell
D/ST
Dolphins DST
Eagles DST
We play the following positions:
1 QB
2 RB
3 WR/TE
1 K
1 D/ST
2 Flex, any position
My thoughts are Kellen Winslow and Shaun Hill, but maybe Donnie Avery instead of Winslow? Any suggestions?

Wow...slim pickings for those keeper options.
I'd go with Avery (no. 1 speedy WR in St Louis) and Winslow (top 5 TE potential).
Shaun Hill is just simply an average QB who has a low ceiling on a Gore-centered offense, and there's always Alex Smith who's scraping by trying to win the QB battle.

If you're choosing between those two guys, I'd roll the dice with Avery over Winslow. Wislow could be an elite TE, but his injuries would worry me. On the other hand, this is Rotoworld's latest news on Hill. He had some good games last year, but looks like a BIG roll of the dice. Personally, I'd go with Avery and Winslow.
The 49ers scored just three points in five possessions with Shaun Hill at quarterback Saturday against the Cowboys.
Analysis: Hill was 9-of-17 for 79 yards. Coach Mike Singletary cited that Hill (back) hadn't practiced for most of the week and therefore wasn't sharp. That may have been a factor but the bottom line is the 49ers' passing game is going to decline without Mike Martz. Hill is a borderline QB2 that we're not touching.
Thanks for the help with mine.

Thank you soty!

I think I really only like Donnie Avery out of that bunch.
Flip a coin on the rest?!?

I'm thinking Hill and Avery. I like Hill more than the other lower third QBs and actually think he could be pretty good as a QB2, borderline QB1 depending on the matchup. Avery is the only potentially dynamic option left of your options. Keeping a tight end who ranks in the 7-10 range isn't very appealing to me.
