Playoff Hedging . . . Can I Get Help This Late In The Season

Bottom Line
1) Do I worry about adding Grossman to protect Schaub?
2) Who do I drop to add Grossman if I add him?
3) Do I start Freeman or Grossman if Schaub is out and I can add Grossman?

My Opening Rant
I was the top scoring team by over 100 points this year in my main money league ($500 buyin), but I was barely able to sneak into the playoffs as a wild card team with my lovely 5-8 record only because our last playoff spot is determined by total points. Amazingly, I was the second highest scorer and lost to the highest scorer 4 separate weeks this year; actually there was only one week the entire season where my final score put me in the bottom half of the league. Now that I'm in the playoffs though, my team's weak spot, which is my RB2 spot, is causing problems for my whole roster. So I figured I'd throw out the situation and see if anyone would be king enough to provide their thoughts on my situation. I've been able to pick the right RB2 the majority of time so far this year; but the money at stake for this league is what will cause me to continue to second guess myself throughout the playoffs since I don't have that team with clear cut starters across the board.

Here's the Situation
The league is a 12 team league with traditional PPR scoring and we start 2QB/2RB/2WR/1TE/2K/1D and 1Flex. This is also a keeper league where 3 players can be kept year to year. You can keep up to 2 players drafted in the first four rounds, at most 1 player drafted between rounds five and ten, and at most one player drafted in round eleven or later. The Flex can be any position except for QB. My roster as of right now is:

2QB - MSchaub*, DMcNabb*, JFreeman, KKolb
2/3RB - SJackson*, THightower, CWells, JForsett, JSnelling, CJennings, QGanther*
2/3WR - RWayne*, RMoss*, RMeachem*, MCrabtree, DBowe
1TE - VDavis*
2K - JReed*, MPrater*
1D - Cardinals*

As you can see my biggest week to week situation is my RB2 spot and to a lesser extent my Flex spot. Luckily, between Meachem and Crabtree, I've been able to deal well with the Flex situation. But that still leaves me playing Russian roulette with my RB2 each week. Right now I'm leaning towards Ganther as my RB2 this week, but that could change 100 times by tomorrow. If anyone has any thoughts about my RB2 for this week, I'd be more than happy to hear opinions.

My Primary Question
The issue I'm having right now though revolves around MSchaub this week. Since this is a 2QB league, there are no starting QBs on the waiver wire so I have very little options. Grossman though is available on the waiver wire. So if Schaub gets the start, then I'm rolling with him and McNabb as normal. However, if Schaub is out; I'm not sure if I would rather go with Freeman or Grossman. And if I want to add Grossman, I need to figure out who to cut. I can't cut my TE, kickers, or defense so those options are out and I obviously wouldn't start any of my studs.

So that leaves my these players as possible drops and my thoughts on them:
Freeman - Wouldn't want to cut because he's a starting QB in a 2QB league.
Kolb - Wouldn't want to cut because he's shown he can replace McNabb.
Meachem - Wouldn't want to cut since he's a great flex play right now.
Crabtree - Wouldn't want to cut because he's a potential keeper (drafted in round 14) and a possible flex play with Meachem.
JForsett - Wouldn't want to cut due to keeper potential.

Bowe - I've only held him to help in the playoffs but with the play of Meachem and Crabtree, Bowe might be expendable.
JSnelling - Has been used as my RB2 once. He doesn't have much keeper potential but he could be my RB2 this week if Turner is out.
QGanther - Right now he's my RB2 for this week. He doesn't have keeper potential but he could be my RB2 this week.
CJennings - I'm still not sold on him doing much this year but he has an outside shot at being the main RB in Cleveland next year and could be a potential keeper.

So realistically if I were to drop anyone, it would be one of the four from the bottom tier. The problem is that I'm reluctant to drop Bowe since I've held him this long and don't want to see another owner use him against me. I'm also reluctant to drop any of the RBs simply because my RB is as bad as it is. So is it worth it to drop one of these guys for Grossman and if so which one?

Bottom Line
1) Do I worry about adding Grossman to protect Schaub?
2) Who do I drop to add Grossman if I add him?
3) Do I start Freeman or Grossman if Schaub is out and I can add Grossman?

Thanks in advance for any help.

1) No - Grossman is awful
2) ---
3) I'd start Freeman - he's inconsistent, but he has better potential, and a generally better schedule the last three weeks...
