Need help fast! Trade McFadden? WHIR!

Postby woowoo crew » Thu Nov 08, 2012 12:34 am

My McFadden, Vernon Davis, Josh Freeman for his McCoy and Colston

Good deal or will I regret losing McFadden during playoff weeks? Should I offer LeShoure and Freeman for McCoy instead? My roster is in my sig.

Thanks!
PPR for QB, RB, WR; 1 pt. per 10 yds.; 6 pt. TD; 1 pt. per 15 return yds.
QB: Rodgers, Stafford
RB: McCoy, Foster
WR: Cobb, Cruz
TE: Bennett
W/R: Spiller

actually, the trade is pending. just wondering if the other deal would be better for me, as i am satisfied with my wrs. this is a big QB league, so freeman is much more valuable than in standard scoring leagues. 1 ppr; 1 pt. 10 yds pass, rush, and receiving; .5 per rush; 6 pts. TD
PPR for QB, RB, WR; 1 pt. per 10 yds.; 6 pt. TD; 1 pt. per 15 return yds.
QB: Rodgers, Stafford
RB: McCoy, Foster
WR: Cobb, Cruz
TE: Bennett
W/R: Spiller
Bench: Edelman, Gordon, Garcon, Gronk, SJax, Fitzpatrick, Woodhead

Sounds good. So TE's don't get a PPR?

Normally I'd say that this is a good trade, but considering your QB scoring system you might want to consider holding Freeman especially with the way that Vick has been playing. I can't see DMC being all that effective down the stretch, and would much rather have McCoy even with Philly's O-line dropping off like flies. Colston's value takes a hit with the return of Graham, especially in the red zone (as we saw on Monday) but I think he'll still be a fine WR2 for the rest of the season. Davis has been disappointing recently, and you do have Gresham to take his place. So I guess it all comes down to whether you think losing Freeman is worth the RB upgrade to McCoy, cause you'll be stuck with starting Vick for the rest of the year, a prospect that I definitely wouldn't be enthusiastic about.

My question for you:

Ah I overlooked Newton on your bench. That definitely makes me more open to your end of the trade, but you're the one with experience with this kind of QB scoring and can more accurately gauge your QBs' values. Stafford and Newton isn't a bad duo, and despite Cam's troubles this season I'd be hard pressed to sit him for Freeman.

I dont like this because you have to give up Vernon. Vernon is just so much better than Greshem. I would try to find someonething else that he wants to package with Freeman and McFadden for McCoy and Colston.
