The trade is Jeremy Maclin and Greg Olsen for Vernon Davis.

Do you think this is a good deal for me long term? I think Davis will break out of his slump in time for the playoffs but not sure if Young and Shorts will be enough to anchor my WR3 and WR4. Is Maclin = Vernon Davis and I should stay put?

Looks good to me I also think Davis will break out and who knows whats going on in Philly right now.

Sounds great on paper. However I did hear a sound bite which Coach Jim Harbough yelled at an assistant coach something like, "Get him off the field, we cannot win with him on the field!" -- Vernon Davis comes jogging to the bench...

I think I'd sit tight, Foles might actually help Maclins value. Davis I don't know what to think about, but you still have Rudolph and Olsen who are serviceable week to week.

This is exactly my sentiment. I think Maclin will greatly benefit from Foles, but I don't know how long he will start for.

My only complaint is that I like consistency in players and Rudolph will either get you a RZ TD or a goose egg for the week. Olsen also has been extremely underwhelming except last week when he faced the 2nd worst DEF vs TE's.

So the Davis owner agreed to terms but I told him I am still iffy. Could use some more input!

I'd be targeting Graham: Julio+ for Graham/Floyd. And hope for Maclin to turn into a solid WR

The TE position has become very risky. There are only a few that can be started in utter confidence week to week. To me, a top 3 TE is much more valuable than a top 3 WR.

I wouldn't count on Davis breaking out of his slump. I think you're better off keeping Maclin and playing matchjups with Rudolph and Olsen. I'd stay put.
