I am targeting week 16 (our Super Bowl), hoping that I'll be one of the teams in it. I've been offered a trade that only makes sense if you look at my week 16 roster match-ups:
A. Rodgers vs TEN = great
J. Freeman vs STL = who cares; I'm rolling with A Rod
D. Martin vs STL = okay, but I'm starting him regardless
J. Charles vs. IND = decent; I'll likely start him
V Ballard vs. KC = great, but can I really count on him?
M Jones-Drew vs. NE = okay, but he should do well, right?
P. Thomas vs. WHO CARES he's unstartable
A.J. Green vs. PIT = bad, like really bad; his only subpar game this year was vs.PIT
D. Thomas vs. CLE = decent, but he'll line-up against Joe Haden. That's iffy.
E. Decker vs. CLE = GREAT
S. Johnson vs. MIA = good, but can't count on him right?
J. Witten vs. NO = good, but Romo in December = bad
V. Davis vs. SEA = bad if Smith starts, good is Kaepernick starts
S. Gostkowski vs. JAX = all day, baby!
CHI Bears vs. WHO CARES it's the Bears!
So there's an owner who's been offering me trades for 3 weeks for MJD. He just offered me Brian Hartline, and I am tempted to take it because of Hartline's week 16 matchup vs. BUF (very good, not fantastic). He's also offering Reggie Bush if I want him instead, but no thanks!
My question is two-fold:
A) why would you do or not do this trade?
B) how would you set my lineup for week 16? QB, RB1, RB2, WR1, WR2, TE, W/R
WHIR 100% for thoughtful answers (I always do!) thanks
