What are Rice and Martin worth?

Postby thomashayden89 » Fri Sep 20, 2013 2:13 am

I'm trying to gauge their trade value. My team is loaded top to bottom except I literally have no WR's. I have AP, Rice, and Martin at RB so I can afford to let one go. What exactly are Rice/Martin worth?

It is hard to pin point in a way like you are asking. It all depends on the makeup of the team you are trying to trade for as well as the player's actual value.

PPR league or standard? Do you have a flex spot? How many RB can ideally be started? [I assume max of 2 since you are willing to part with one of these guys].

Ray Rice is possibly injured so that doesn't help. You could get a top WR one-for-one or go for two low-high end players any combination or WR/RB, WR/TE, etc. in my opinion.

I'd wait and see how Rice's health shakes up.

Standard scoring, non PPR

RG III
Peterson
Martin
James Jones
Emmanuel Sanders
Gronkowski
Rice
Seahawks D/ST
Gostowski

Bench:
Bernard
Gonzalez
Bell
Ball

3 backs are obviously a big part of the league, but I'm looking to flip both. Something along the lines of Jones+Rice for Demaryius Thomas+DMC and Martin+Gonzo for Fitzgerald+Forte
