Who to start at flex, ...WHIR

Postby Kirby » Thu Sep 24, 2009 9:16 am

Standard scoring, PPR, 10 teamer

Here is my starters

QB: Garrard (unless mcnabb plays)
RB: Deangelo williams, Fred Jackson
WR: AJ, Jennings, R White
TE: Olsen
Flex: ?

my flex options are
Caddy vs NYG
OchoCinco vs Pitt
Benson vs Pitt
FWP @ Cincy
Ricky Williams @ SD
Johnny Knox @ Sea

I dont like the matchup with Pitt, but so far Benson has put up solid #s. Knox is hit or miss, might be to early to tell what he will do this season.

Thoughts?

I don't like the matchup either, but I would go with Benson. He has been playing well, and he will get the ball at the goalline.

please help with mine

Im gonna have to go with Ochocinco on this one brother, with Pitts secondary a little shot with Polamalu out, he is going to be a better choice then Benson against their tough Defense line. Palmer looked good last week and Ocho is his go-2 guy. Id say Ochocinco

Thanks for the help on mine brother

Barber ran all over the Giants last week, maybe Caddy can do the same.

I don't like either of the Pitt match ups, I think they are pissed and going to make a huge comeback this week after a loss last week. I wouldn't want to be on the Bengals this week.

Parker is a little too hit or miss, and Big Ben has been winning games through the pass game and cincy seems to be able to stop the run sometimes

Brown gets all the points in MIA

and Knox had 1 good week.

I like Caddy, or a long shot Knox

I think you have to go with Benson. Benson will get 20-25 touches a game with nobody threatening at the 2nd RB. There is good potential that he will get a goal line carry at some point in the game and will get 60-80 yards.

I'd say take a risk and go with Caddy, the tough Giants D might shut him out...but then again MBIII and Felix Jones rushed for 251 combined against them!?!?! Plus, even if he doesn't great get numbers on the ground, he's being targeted on the passing game as well lately, so I think he makes a nice Flex option. Good Luck!

Help with mine?

(I made a few changes so keep an eye out for new lineup)
