having some trouble trying to decide what to do with cotchery this week. due to bye weeks, my top 2 WR are out and i already had to pick up crayton as a spot start. we just found out about cotchery's injury at the end of the week, so it's a bit of a surprise. it's a hamstring injury, so this could definatly effect his play. he also plays the monday night game, so i have to make the decision today if i want to pick up another receiver, or roll the dice that he not only starts, but plays the whole game and produces. risky. however, in order to pick up another WR i am going to have to drop a RB like mewelde moore because i don't have any other room due to the bye weeks. problem is, because gore and parker are out, i'm starting mewelde. so should i drop moore for austin collie and start chester taylor? MIN is playing st louis so most likely their going to be go up big against them, taylor hasn't done much this season but if MIN pulls away, taylor could get some 4th quarter carries which could result in a TD possibly.
so the question is, drop moore for collie and start collie and chester taylor, or keep moore and roll the dice with cotch?
here's my roster....its a yahoo DYNASTY league, h2h standard cats/6 pts for passing td's:
QB Ben Roethlisberger WR Jericho Cotchery WR Josh Morgan WR Patrick Crayton RB Adrian Peterson RB Steven Jackson TE Vernon Davis WR/RB Mewelde Moore BN Frank Gore (out) BN Greg Jennings (bye) BN Marques Colston (bye) BN Owen Daniels BN Chester Taylor BN Willie Parker (out) BN Carson Palmer BN Shonn Greene (can't drop him since its a dynasty and he's starting to get involved in the run game)
K Matt Prater (only picked up because kaeding on a bye) BN Nate Kaeding (bye week)
DEF SF BN SD (bye)
as always, leave a link and i will help you out as well.

Thanks for the help w/ mine. I might be off here but I think you keep Moore b/c Parker is out and mostly ineffective when he plays. I would drop Taylor and pick up Collie to play. Whoever you decide to drop, I do agree w/ playing Collie.
Thanks for the help with mine. I'm pretty sure Pitt is playing Det, not Minn. I'd stick with what you got, and roll the dice. I feel like Cotch will be fine, though that is all gut on my part.
who else are they going to throw to? Certainly not braylon all day. I say roll with cotch as well dont do any drastic over abye week. Your teams stacked and even if you lost it wont crush you .

I agree here. Keep Moore and drop Taylor and hope to pick him back up off waivers.
thanks for the help so far guys. i agree that picking up collie would be a wise choice but i certainly cannot drop chester taylor. AP is very close to a featured back now, and will be next year when taylor leaves via free agency, but taylor is too much of a great handcuff to AP. i learned this when i dropped coffee. i dropped him the game before gore was hurt and he was placed on waivers, and yahoo has a dumb rule that i can't claim a player off waivers, if i put him him there. there is zero chance taylor will clear waivers in this league.
I would drop Kaeding or Daniels and pickup Collie unless you have min position requirements. Backup kickers and TEs really aren't in my vocabulary. The diff between Kaeding and Prater when the season is over won't be big enough to justify potentially losing a week because you don't roll with the best lineup.
I agree 100% with what rmsanger wrote before me. Drop the extra kicker or T.E. If this is something that cannot be done drop Moore not Taylor and grab Collie.
