Week 5 QB and Flex help WHIR

Postby oo3 » Fri Oct 05, 2012 12:57 pm

Current lineup (non-ppr, TE can be flex):

QB: Dalton vs Mia or Big Ben vs Phi
RB1: Foster vs NYJ
RB2: Fjax vs SF
WR1: Cruz vs Cle
WR2: Nelson vs Ind
TE: Rudolph vs Ten
Flex: Chandler vs SF, Hixon vs Cle or Simpson vs Ten
D/ST: Steelers vs Phi
K: Gostkowski vs Den

BN: Doug Martin (BYE), K. Smith (BYE and I can't get myself to drop him), Lance Moore, Starks (stashing him in hopes Benson will go away)

I'm kind of leaning towards Hixon as my flex since Nicks is out for Week 5. Both QB's have good matchups so which would be better?

As always, thank you and WHIR

Your quarterback situation is tough. I would go with Dalton, he just seems to be clicking with he receivers right now. AJ Green is playing really good too which makes him even better. Big Ben is so inconsistent a few years back I had him on my team and he tanked one game in then played like a superstar the next. As for FLEX I would without a doubt go with Hixon, Nicks is out and Cruz will probably be double covered leaving Hixon open for a lot passes.

Sorry for my grammar

I agree with the above poster, but that is due not to Big Ben being more consistent, but because he is facing Philly. Hold on to Lance Moore, but start Hixon this week. Moore WILL pass Colston on the depth chart by the end of the year. (WHAT?)

Yes, start Hixon
1. NYG are going up against Cleveland
2. 80% of NYG yardage is passing
3. WRs - Nicks & Barden are BOTH out for Sunday

I think Dalton and Ben are probably a tossup, but I lean toward Dalton. He and AJ are gonna put up big yards all day and Ben is inconsistent (had him last year).

Definitely Hixon. Simpson is also inconsistent (also had him last year) and Chandler is gonna be covered by the best D in the league.

Help?
