High scoring league: ppr; .5 per rush; 1 pt. per 10 yds. pass, rush, and receiving; 6 pts TD
I need a win badly this week, so I can retain 2nd place and get a 1st round playoff bye. Plus, if I beat the guy I'm playing, he's out of playoffs, and his team SCARES me. He's made big trades and has come out of nowhere to rack up wins and big points the last 2 weeks. Help me pick my 3 RBS. (The first 3 listed are the ones in my line up right now.)
Sproles vs. ATL Spiller vs. JAX Mathews vs. CIN Bryce Brown vs. DAL Ridley vs. MIA
Pick my tight end: Davis vs. STL (only went 4 for 30 yds against them in week 10) Bennett vs. WAS (gives up most pts. to TE; just picked him up so i can mull over the decision)
PPR for QB, RB, WR; 1 pt. per 10 yds.; 6 pt. TD; 1 pt. per 15 return yds. QB: Stafford, Newton RB: Spiller, Sproles WR: VJax, Cobb TE: Myers W/R: Ridley Bench: McCoy, Mathews, Bryce Brown, Kaepernick, B. Powell, Gronkowski
The RB's I'd start Spiller (He's a must start. No question!) Ridley (Gotta start Ridley. He's been doing basically all season) The 3rd RB, I'd go with Matthews. When in doubt, I always play the most talented one
1. Spiller - vs the Jags on a cold, icy, snowy field means more running than passing. Expect many carries for Spiller.
2. Ridley - Just because he's the main rushing option on the Pats and he is very likely to see carries when the Pats get close to the goal line.
3. Brown - This guy runs hard. The Eagles are a disaster, but the one bright spot is their ability to run. Whoever is running the ball, whether it be McCoy or Brown, they produce huge numbers. McCoy will again miss the game, so start Brown with confidence.
I just don't trust Matthews. He's getting a lot of carries, so that's a positive. But what has he done? This season he has played 10 games. He has only one rushing TD all season. ZERO games over 100 yards all season. He hasn't hit double digits in fantasy points since week 5 and that was the only week in the season he got double digits. Stick a fork in him already.. don't bench Bryce Brown for this guy...
For TE, I'd stick with Davis even though he didn't do squat this past week...
QB - Drew Brees, Tony Romo RB - Adrian Peterson, Trent Richardson, Alfred Morris, Jacquizz Rodgers WR - Brandon Marshall, Julio Jones, Vincent Jackson, Anquan Boldin, Golden Tate TE - Heath Miller DEF - Rotating K - Justin Tucker
Definitely Bryce Brown over Mathews for the 3rd RB spot. Mathews is weak, and Brown is a monster. Also, Cowboys D is weak. I think with TE you gotta stick with Vernon Davis. Also, Martellus Bennett has been a nonfactor lately, he hasn't gotten a single game of more than 4 points in weeks.
RB: Spiller and Brown are must starts 3rd RB go with Sproles. Atlanta is not that good against the rund and Sproles is a good pass catching back so he will see plenty of balls.
TE: Stick with Davis. The game against the Rams will be totally different with Kap under center.
