When should new SL spot start?

As agreed to in this poll, we're adding a player slot to the Starting Lineup. Need to determine when.

Voted 2012. We are supposedly drafting soon, yet the labor issue still hasn't been resolved, after which will be a free agency period which could severely alter the worth of many players. By 2012, we'll have two drafts under our belt and plenty of opportunities to make trades to prepare for this change. Believe it or not, the starting lineup DOES affect my decisions on who to draft and who to trade for. This season is too soon, and 2013 or beyond seems like overkill.
