If there are any ACTIVE viking or Colt offensive players on your waiver wire, you outta snag em up for this one.
I might start the left guard in this one!
QB - Manning, Ben Roth, Campbell RB - Henry, T Jones, D Ward, B-Jax, Betts, B Jacobs, Selvin Young WR - Lee Evans, Colston, Driver, Cotchery, Brandon Marshall TE - Heap K - Elam DEF - Chicago
Ricky, it's an 8-team league. He took Manning with the first pick (too early) and got CPep at the end of the 2nd. I knew that was too late for Pepper and wouldn't have let him get that far, but I traded up in the 2nd to get Edge with the 10th pick. It was a tossup between Edge and CPep and I went with Edge. It was the other teams in the league that were stupid for letting Culpepper fall that far. He shouldn't have gotten past #11 overall. I took LT/Edge with my first 2 picks, which I thought was great and it's still better than most of the other teams in the league, but that one guy's team is just ridiculous. At RB, he drafted Chris Brown, Quentin Griffin, and Barlow. Fortunately, Barlow and Griffin busted, but he picked up Droughns 3 weeks ago. What the hell? He also drafted Roy Williams in the 13th round and traded him for Fred Taylor. The guy's roster looks like this:
Culpepper, Manning, Leftwich (start 2)
Brown, Droughns, Taylor, Barlow (start 3)
DJax, Driver, Clayton, Fitz, Keyshawn, Muhammad (start 4)
Heap (when he comes back)
Sick. Sick, I tell you. The rest of us are pretty much reduced to hoping his team is devastated by injuries At least I beat him once this year already something like 176-163. That was on Culpepper's worst week of the year versus the Eagles. I have McNabb.
Anyone think I have a chance to beat him with this roster? Mason will be on bye, so I'm hoping Boldin and McCardell are both in the swing of things by then.
