Insiders tell ABC26 News, the decision to fire or keep Jim Haslett could come as early as the team's bye week, following this Sunday's away game in Oakland. The Saints have never fired a coach in the middle of a season.

no kidding... sucks to be haslett. He really did try... all of those defensive line draft picks. Good luck to whoever's next.

What type of coach do you guys thing they will hire....offensive or defensive minded coach?

Im guessing defensive.

Hmmm.. number 32 ranked defense now? yeah, i'd say a guess for a defensive coach would be a conservative estimate. ;-D

They are the only team to go above 386 yards per game... with 414. They have the #29 ranked pass d and the #31 ranked rush d.

Anyone know of some coaches available right now who are defensively specialized? (maybe they should hold out for wanny... he was d cord for dallas ninties defense... along with butch davis and norv turner. looks like teams should avoid former dallas assistants...)

Where does it say hes going to be fired. Its says theyll make thier decision in 2 weeks. This is just another misleading Subject.

bout damn time, man i have been waiting for this for so long. now i hope we get a decent coach, thats all we need. yea haslett did try, but too bad trying dont give u wins.

They'll let one of the coordinators be interim Head Coach, and then they'll hire Gregg Williams away from my Skins after this season... just a hunch...
