McNair starting?

I wanted to know McNairs statu/value for sundays game against minny.

There's really no new news on his status. He didn't practice yesterday or today, as expected, and he's still listed as questionable with the bruised sternum. But unless he gets hit by a truck tommorow I'd expect him to play. I said earlier in the week I was going to bench him but I changed my mind. This match up is too good to pass up.

McNair will start. All last season he was listed as questionable, didn't practice all week, but showed up on Sunday. He'll play. That doesn't mean he'll do any good, but he'll play. He is going against the worst passing defense in the league but he didn't look good against the Texans last week so he's still a risky play. I'm starting Plummer (vs. Cincinnati) over McNair this week.
