As a huge Chargers fan, I think this is an 8-8 team this year, 9-7 if they get some breaks. I don't think Denver is all that, but they'll take the division by default. The thing is, though, is that this team is going to get better every week unless a serious injury occurs. If they squeak into the playoffs, they will be able to compete with just about anyone.

I love Rivers and I think (despite what the majority of the Cafe says) he will turn out to be a good QB, but I am enjoying the success we are seeing with Brees. I am thinking of the rest of this season as a nice little vacation from our constant rebuilding (at least for the last few years). Maybe Rivers will be a quick study like Ben...
