McCariens a bust yet?!??!?!

Postby daroq04 » Thu Oct 21, 2004 4:38 pm

I took his ass before Wayne, Walker etc etc. Is he dead weight on my roster or do I hang on to him until Penny is forced to throw? I think anyone with a jet wr has this dilemma

McCareins is waiver wire fodder, so put him there.
"Sometime during the Pats game last week, I decided that Tomlinson was the best overall running back of my lifetime. There's nothing he can't do: deadly receiver, tough inside runner, explosive to the outside, you name it." - ESPN's Bill Simmons

He's been a bust. He's averaging like 2pts/game in my league, if that.

I'm staying the course because the Jets wideouts are about to turn the corner, woops, watching too much CNN...

I do think the numbers will turn around- at this pace- McCariens is on pace to catch 41 passes and no TDs. I don't see that pace continuing all year unless he gets injured. It's got to be better than that and it will improve as Penny starts throwing more- right now, they're winning by running C Mart down people's throat- that will change as the season progresses.
12 Team Keeper League- 3 Players

QB- Brees, Delhomme, Griese
RB- Portis, Martin, C Brown, O Smith, S Jackson, Duckett
WR- TO, McCariens, Bruce
D- Ravens,
TE- Witten

Im a believer that he will turn it around, most people still believe Pennington is a top QB but say Moss and McCareins (his best WRs) are bust already. They will all come around, McCareins has the most improving to do though. :,-(
