So what are you guys' predictions? Are there many people who think Griese could steal the starting job or are the Fins married to Fiedler? Griese didn't show me much in Denver and he had a pretty strong cast around him there so I really don't expect much more in Miami.

Does Maimi have a QB? Did they throw a pass last year? Well, a pass to their team, anyway?

Seriously, I fully expect Griese to take over. He's definitely the fan favorite, and I just see the Dolphins pulling the trigger to quickely. It's unfortunate becuase I think Fiedler is a more solid QB than Griese.

I think Griese will take over mid to late season,
especially if Miami start to lose (winter).

The dolphins have invested a decent amount of money to
aquire Griese and Fiedler may be on his last legs.

Greise has alot to prove since his performances with Denver. Fiedler has proven he can put numbers up in Miami. look what happened to the team when he was out last year... Also coach Dave is more of the problem with that team then anyone else.

You Feidler haters! =P I am a die hard miami fan and I have watched feidler play since he got the job. He is better than greise and i know he'll prove it agian that he has talent. He knows the system... he works well with Ricky, Chambers and McMichael. How can u possibly think greise will have a chance of taking Feidler's job if u have seen what he could do. Feidler is a winner.
BTW did u see the game he broke is finger on? He clerly won that for miami.
Feidlers last year stats:
Games:11 QB Rating:85.2 Pct:61.3 Yards:2024 Yards/game:184.0 TD:14 INT:9 Rush Yards: 99 Rush TD:3 FumL:1
These arnt great but they r what miami needs... a consistant QB and his name is feidler not greise.
The only problem i see is if feidler gets hurt which is possible and greise will keep the job if he wins.

Fiedler will have no problem holding off Griese this season. Fiedler is a "give it all you got" type of player. Too bad he doesn't have the talent of a Favre or a McNair. He does however, give his team a leader, who they can believe in, and he does give it all up during the game. Fiedler is a fine #2 Qb when healthy. Griese might get back on track but he seems to be kind of fragile, both mentally a physically. Don't discount the damage done to his shoulders from his injuries. He really never came back from the shoulder injury, late in the season, two years back.

Killin' me !!! Fielder is our guy in Miami. Bill's fans need to zip it cause they know who the team to beat this year is. Griese will be nothing more than a back up this year.

Go phins!
At least I have a real coach now in Saban !

Does it really matter who hands the ball off to Ricky? I think it will be a game of musical chairs all season as Dave struggles to keep his job. One guy throws a couple of picks and he gets yanked for the other guy.
