Portis v. C Brown- Who will score more points rest of year?

I'm inclined to believe the Titans has an easier schedule- however, they are not playing so well this year and have fallen behind on a number of occasion where they just plain abandon the running game and go through the air- that leaves C Brown of little value.

I'm a believer in Portis and want to believe that Gibbs running him outside more will get better results but sheesh, he couldn't even hit paydirt against the woeful Bears D! Forget about Brunell- short of breaking his leg, Gibbs is too loyal to pull his QB.

What do you guys think?

Don't give up on the Titans yet. Didn't they start out like 1-4 a couple of years ago and make it to the AFC Championship game?

Brown will get his most of the year and should get a pile against Minnesota this week.

Brown may not fare so well versus the Minn D if the they light up the scoreboard. But for the rest of the way, go with C, Brown.

I like Portis. He is likely to improve as that offense settles in (new coach, new RB, somewhat new QB). Last week was a preview of what he'll be doing on a game by game basis in the near future. Brown had a solid start and will probably be solid all year, but I think Portis is just going to break out.

I love Portis he'll be big
