Ah, such a frustrating RB situation in Minny. :-#

I can't believe how much I trusted Bennett in the offseason, I feel like he has stabbed me in the back. Onterrio and Mewelde are serious threats to his job, hopefully Tice is playing mind games right now with all of the praise going to Smith and Moore.

I just noticed...

Isn't it funny that Onterrio and Mewelde have very strange and eccentric first names, yet very calm and ordinary last names?

Eenie, meenie, minnie, moe.....

Seriously, I wouldn't touch this situation now with a 10 foot pole. Bennett is still said to be the feature back but how can you keep the other guys on the bench?

Well, no matter who gets the "starting" job in Minnesota, it's safe to say that the ball carrying will be shared by a commitee. The question I want to know is, "who will be starting somewhere else in 2005?"

I have the answers to every question, except any of the ones in this post. That might pose a problem.

Im gonna go ahead with my post! First of all, my cell phone is ringing. Hold up.

Ok. Im back and to tell you the truth, it wasnt that important of a call. Certainly not more important than what I was gonna type about the RB situation in Minnesota.

So the call was from my GF, who I still have even though I think fantasy football alot more than I think...wait...the post...yikes

Hey, the Rb situation...aviod it...what a disaster..itll leave you confused and upset every weekend as some random dude named Moore or some other M name or maybe O name runs for way more yards than the guy you started instead like Zereoue or Williams but I mean come on. It the 7th week...he retired in the offseason...just let him go!

The point is, Damon is money on inside fastballs with that swing he has, but dont you think he'd get more power if he kept both hands on the bat all the way through the zone?

Huh? Thats not the point at all...the point is that...what is this post about? Gimmie a sec...

Oh yeah...what that last guy said, although if I had Moore (and I dont) Id start him this week, and every week until Tice the neckless coachman (I just made that up...who likes it?!?!) Fine whatever. I mean...wait...my mp3 player just ran out of songs! Where am I?

O. Smith is the best all-around back. Let's hope Tice does not pull a "Butch Davis" and continue to drag out an inferior back (W. Green) when Smith returns.

And no, I don't own O. Smith in any leagues, in fact I own Moore in one, and don't see him lasting long once Smith returns. Just pure talent observation.

And how long is it going to take Mularky to wake up in Buffalo?

people hate on smith because they drafted bennett and he was an amazing sprinter, so they want to believe that he's still better than onterio.

the fact is that smith is a better back ALL AROUND, granted there might be a few things (speed) that bennett has on smith, but overall, smith is a more talented back. i know i'll catch a lotta flack for that, but whatever. check the stats, check his health, check anything (other than drug tests) ;-D

Smith DESERVES the starting job when he comes back, and I'd be amazed if he doesnt at least LEAD the rbbc with the most carries/time/etc.

Who's Onterrio Smith? Bennett who? C'mon guys- If #30 didn't make you guys forget those two, I don't know what will. RBBC will not be as dramatic as you think.

Don't trust a word Tice said- he learned long ago that you don't announce to the world what you're really going to do- remember the Moss 40 rule? He declared it, went out and did it and the opposing defenses prepared for it.
