I don't think he stinks, but he may not neccesarily be a top 5 back, either. He runs tall and is a tall back, a la Eddie George, and will probably be similar production-wise to Eddie in his hay-day. He will likely see some up-and-down weeks. I am starting to regret having traded Fred Taylor for him, though, as the two have gone in opposite directions in the past 2 weeks (how about Fred in the passing game now? Ay yi yi!). Happens every time!
Back to Brown. The Titans are hurting all over. McNair is out, Brown is hurting, Drew Bennett has been hobbled. The team as whole is not healthy, especially in key positions. There has been little continuity the past couple weeks. To make matters worse for Brown, the Titans didn't seem to feel able to stick with the run (which I can't figure out, as they were only down 17-3 at the half. I'm sure if they were able to try and mix it up a little they may have done better than pass-pass-pass with Volek). It wasn't like the Vikes were up 56-10 like the Chiefs; Brown should have had more than 14 carries, sorry to say.
Brown avg 3.9 per rush yesterday so I don't think he stinks. Like it was said above the Titans fell behind in the game and stopped running the ball. Brown was the only one on the team with a carry so it's not like he was hurt or ineffective.
Tennessee is uber-banged-up rith now, but they will come around and finish the season strong. Browns totals will definitely improve over yesterday.
Not that Im not disappointed. I lost a very winnable game this week because of pitiful performances from my so-called studs: Moss (injury), Brown (early deficit/No McNair), Hasselbeck (worst performance EVER!)
This is why there are 15 games on the fantasy schedule though.
QB - Manning, Ben Roth, Campbell RB - Henry, T Jones, D Ward, B-Jax, Betts, B Jacobs, Selvin Young WR - Lee Evans, Colston, Driver, Cotchery, Brandon Marshall TE - Heap K - Elam DEF - Chicago

Yea, he really stinks. Only two weeks ago he had two touchdowns in the first five minutes. He finished with 148 yards rushing and two touchdowns in the first half alone. In two earlier games this season he had over 100 yards and a rushing touchdown.
The Titans have sucked the last two weeks, with turnovers everywhere and playing from behind the whole game. It's no surprise that the running game would suffer.
Next week the Titans face the Bungles; a Pop Warner running back could torch Cinci for 100 yards and a TD. Look for Chris Brown to rebound and in a big way.
