Holmes out? Blaylock?

Postby skinsfan » Sun Oct 24, 2004 7:43 pm

I already missed out on Blaylock in my important league, but does anyone know about what happened to Holmes? I heard one report that he got injured, but there was no elaboration.

No idea... that's all I heard. It's probably not an upper ankle sprain or anything, which would mean it's bad. He should be allright.

lol

why not check one of the most widely known resources before you ask silly questions:

rotoworld.com:

Priest Holmes - RB - Chiefs

Priest Holmes could have gone back in the game after tweaking his ankle.
"He twinged the ankle just a little bit so we just kept him out," said head coach Dick Vermiel. Holmes scored four TDs, and now has ten on the season. Oct. 24 - 5:31 pm et

No matter to me as Holmes' owner picked up Blaylock today as soon as he started scoring TDs.

Holmes could have had 7-8 TDs had he stayed in. (I think one of Blaylocks 4 was before Priest lef the game)

Scary. 8-o

yeah, one of Blaylocks TDs was when he was spelling for Holmes. I wouldn't nab up Blaylock unless you have a deep league, as he wont do that every week (obviously), but 4 TDs for a backup/spell RB is not to shabby... ;-D

Not too shabby indeed!

Now what's worse, having Blaylock score those four TDs while sitting on your bench, or owning Trent Green, seeing that the Chiefs scored 56, and then checking the box score... :-D
