What is your take on the DET running situation?

So, K. Jones is no the WW in a lot of leagues, I was just interested in getting some takes on how the "Mooch" was going to split up the carries.

Here is this weeks #'s:


K. Jones - 13 rushes, 65 yards and 1 TD
A. Pinner - 9 rushes, 36 yards and 1 TD
S. Bryson - 5 rushes, 16 yards and 0 TD

Next week they are playing at Dallas (whos DEF is much weaker than last year) What kind of #'s will we be hoping for?

(Dallas gave up 220 rushing yard to GB this week)

I have K. Jones and was glad to see him have an ok week he may be useful later on in the year, I didnt like seeing Pinner and Bryson in there in the redzone though. I think the 220 is inflated a little by the 90yd run by ahman but I would expect around the same amount of yards and carries and a td would be a bonus

I watched the game yesterday & Jones busted a couple of long runs but other than that nothing special. I would be a little concerned as a Jones owner just because Pinner was in during red zone trips as well as obvious passing downs.

I watched most of this game yesterday. If K. Jones didn't have leg cramps in the 2nd half, he would have had a much higher % of the carries, and could easily have had a 2nd TD. His fragility remains a concern for me, but my guess is that he is getting 20+ carries/game by the end of the season.

I agree. He wouldn't last long on the WW in my league. He could be a nice asset going into a playoff run.

It's quite clear that KJones is the best runner in Detroit. If he were healthy he would be a feature back without doubt. He would probably still lose some short yardage carries to Pinner and 3rd down plays to Bryson but expect 20ish carries. However, he hasn't been able to stay healthy and left the game early yesterday. Also, Detroit's OL is pretty horrible at run blocking. He's a risky guy right now but I could see his value going up toward the end of the season (if he gets back to 100%).

He gave the team a huge boost yesterday and carried them down the field for the go ahead TD. As soon as they took him out it was right back to struggling with Pinner and Bryson.
