Who would you draft 1st. H Ward or P Burress

in fact my draft today i had Ward on deck but the team ahead took him

I'd take Burress

Although your not really losing too much if you draft either.

This has sort of been a classic debate in fantasy football as we anticipate the 2003 season. I like Ward for the way he approaches the game, but I have Burress ranked a bit higher for this year fantasy-wise. There is the consistency argument for Ward, but I just have a feeling that Burress might have a HUGE breakout season, becoming a big play + touchdown machine.

I've been a Steeler fan my whole life, and I have a hard time believing that Ward and Burress will duplicate last years numbers. It had never been done in Steeler history and I don't think it will happen again any time soon. I love all the hype they are getting because it should help open up the ground game and let us get back to the grind.

I lean towards Ward, but my league gets 1 point per reception. In scoring leagues, I'd take Burress...
