I had done some analysis on Burress a while back and posted this on a different thread.

Seriously watch out for Burress to blow up if Maddox stays healthy all year. Check out this stat. In the 4 games Maddox did not play, Burress caught 11 balls for 154 yds (1 of those was a 54 yd play) and goose egg TD's, averaging 38.5 yds per game (removed that huge 54 yd play and it was 25 yds per game). In the 12 games Maddox played, Burress caught 67 balls for 1174 yds, and 7 scores, averaging 98 yds per game. I see Burress being able to haul in 90+ balls for 1500 yds and a dozen scores this year if Tommy Gun stays healthy.

On the other hand, in games Maddox did not play, Ward caught 28 balls for 358 yards (89.5 ypg) and 6 TD's. In games Maddox played he caught 84 balls for 971 yards (80.9) and 6 TD's. Yes, pretty consistent but his yards per game and TD average slipped when Maddox played while Burress's skyrocketed.

With Tommy at the helm, you have to like Plax.
