Well, to create a similar poll to the presidental one, If you are eligible to vote, do you vote?.
I know less than half the people in America that can, vote, and I think thats pretty bad. I know it may seem like your vote doesn't really have much value, but if you don't vote, you are just wasting your right. If you don't vote, you can't complain about the government, becuase you were too lazy to just go and vote.

Exactly. As of now, I don't have the ability to vote, but come 2008 I will surely be participating in the process. Personally, I think the electoral college dissuades people for voting, but nonetheless it is an important thing to partake in.

Prolly lower income folks (not necessarily poor though). Consumed by family duties, hectic schedules, not the kind of folks with the time to sit around and read the "general talk" sections of FF message boards. Of course, even if they did, would they have the initiative to vote in a FF poll either?
