How many people that can, vote?

Postby MeShawn » Tue Oct 26, 2004 6:42 pm

Well, to create a similar poll to the presidental one, If you are eligible to vote, do you vote?.

I know less than half the people in America that can, vote, and I think thats pretty bad. I know it may seem like your vote doesn't really have much value, but if you don't vote, you are just wasting your right. If you don't vote, you can't complain about the government, becuase you were too lazy to just go and vote.

Exactly. As of now, I don't have the ability to vote, but come 2008 I will surely be participating in the process. Personally, I think the electoral college dissuades people for voting, but nonetheless it is an important thing to partake in.

Me neither. I'm kind of glad I can't vote, as I don't like either candidate (although I'd vote Kerry since I hate Bush). I'll be there in 2008 though ;-D

You think if they don't vote in the elections, they're going to vote in your poll?

50% no vote, eh? I can guarantee it ain't the rich who aren't voting...

Prolly lower income folks (not necessarily poor though). Consumed by family duties, hectic schedules, not the kind of folks with the time to sit around and read the "general talk" sections of FF message boards. Of course, even if they did, would they have the initiative to vote in a FF poll either?

Hmmm
