This is in regard to the other topic about the election...
This poll is regarding not WHO necessarily you are voting for, but why...
I believe many are voting for Kerry because they hate Bush. And this is simply not a good reason to vote... I'd rather people not vote at all than use their vote to elect an imbicile or an @sshole.
Personally, I believe both of our choices this year are lousy... we have Bush, a conservative (not particually fond of conservative ideals, myself) who wants to abolish abortion and gay marriage, as well as run up the deficit. Kerry is a smug prick with a b!tch wife, who contradicts himself in debates (he does... I don't want to hear a regurgitation of Kerry's replies to his wishy-washiness during the debates... all he is doing is throwing mud in everyone's eyes, and switching topics), says things he will never be able to back up, and can not grasp the big picture (or banks on the fact that most can't anyways). If you can tell, I'd rather Bush be elected than Kerry, but sadly, my birthday falls short by 26 days... so all of my non-politically-minded friends can vote... but I can't.
So of course, I realize I am hypocritical when I talk about this topic, because I'd rather Bush be elected, but I do not think he is a strong candidate either. But as another poll has proven, I hope this poll will also show that more people vote for kerry because they hate bush, not because they like Kerry.
And everyone, the only way this will work is if everyone is COMPLETELY HONEST. If everyone votes that they like Kerry, they are LYING.
Kerry. Not purely becuase I hate Bush, though it plays a major role. Neither candidate is very good, though I refuse to vote for that other loony toon (Nader). I tend to be more liberal anyway.

if you've noticed, I've posted quite frequently in the other post... I just wanted to experiment with this poll...
And Mercer, I was going to include voters who are voting solely on which party they belong to, but I thought it would draw votes away from Kerry supporters who didnt want to admit they hate Bush. Sorry...
sorry about the criticism, I hadn't seen that picture of kerry's daughter! I just returned from vomiting. OK so agreed that Kerry and Bush must debate this?
