should R.Moss be benched week 8?

Postby tc » Wed Oct 27, 2004 4:28 pm

is he playing...PLAYING? or is he playing 2 plays and sitting the rest of the game to keep his playing streak alive? That was the dumbest thing ever! made me activate him over Clayton and i got burned. so for week 8 is he expected to play PLAY?

Rototimes.com

Vikings coach Mike Tice said he hopes that Randy Moss (WR) Min will at least be available for goal-line duty this weekend, according to the Star-Tribune. Moss is nursing a strained hamstring. "I don't anticipate he'll be at speed enough to play his normal role," Tice said.

Unless I get a better report than what's above, I don't plan on playing him.

How much do you want to bet old liar-man Tice is just saying this to try to get the Giants to not prepare for Moss - and then he busts out the whole game on them... :-?

Fantasy decision from heck! :-t

Well I got burned last week when I started him 10 minutes before gametime. I thought to myself: "Self, would they start him if he wasn't able to play just to keep his streak alive? Would they do something that stupid?"

Obviously Tice gets no benefit of a doubt from me any more.

Oh well, he's starting for me this week regardless. Everyone else is on a bye. Here's hoping he plays! ;-D

How many WRs do you hear about as having goalline duty...

If he's not starting and you have some decent options on the bench, at this point I'd probably bench Moss at this point.

Goal line duty? Last week it was Red zone play!..Did ya ya Randy a few minutes from game time last week?..jumping up and down saying" I bet your all wondering why I'm suited up ..and playing this week..I'm from the streets"! Well fool me once...good job...fool me twice??..Not a chance..ride the bench Moss!
The first wipe is always the messiest

I'll wait for Mort's update Sunday AM. Last week I started McCardell instead of Moss. Will do the same if Moss looks like
he's a decoy again.

I think Moss will be in the game to catch his red zone jump balls and not much more. Hopefully this won't last much longer. There's a huge difference between having him in your lineup vs. Fitzgerald or Donald Driver.

Never bench your studs, never!.I think we all learned that from CJ last week.Unless theres 110% chance that he will not play it's just too great of a risk.
