Anquan Boldin - *UPDATE*

Postby Plindsey88 » Thu Oct 28, 2004 8:21 am

Is anyone considering playing this guy against Buffalo if he is upgraded to probable?

[SEE BELOW FOR UPDATE]

***Local newspapers are confirming that Boldin will be upgraded to probable, and Coach Green says he will play a significant role in this week's game....

Boldin should see plenty of work this weekend. In leagues with three wide receivers, he's a risky play, but we'd probably put him in your lineup

rotoworld apparently is.

I think playing him would be determined by who he is replacing in your lineup. If he continues to have good practices, I dont think he would be a terrible option, but obviously dont expect 100 yds and a TD right out of the gate. Mabye McCardell #'s from last week ~ 70 yds on 5 or 6 catches

Cool.... Just making sure I'm not the only one... I've got Bruce on a bye at WR, and Suggs on a bye at my flex, so it's looking like my options will be Boldin or Troy Edwards....

I'm thinking of rolling the dice on him this week also.
I've got Holt on a BYE and was going to play L. Coles.
I dunno, any chance he could come up big this week ???

I was going to play him and bench Keyswawn or Toomer, but they both play against 2 of the worst pass defences in the NFL.

Gonna have to sit Boldin.

I am up in the air also, I was thinking Moulds, Moss, and Wayne. But Chambers and Boldin are tough to sit.
QB(1): Hasselbeck and McNair
RB(2): McAllister, Arrington, and Dayne
WR(3): R. Moss, Boldin, A. Johnson, Calico, A. Bryant, Warrick, Robinson, S. Parker, and Givens
TE(1): L.J. Smith, McMichael, and Troupe
D(1): Min
K(1): Janikowski

Boldin has been pestering me to start all season, in three of my leagues. Provided he doesn't have a setback before Sunday, he will be starting in place of Mr. Toomer, in one league. Can't resist the urge to at least test the waters..... :-b

First... I wouldn't bench Toomer for Boldin. Toomer should have a very good game against my poor Viking D.

Plindsey... unless I hear that this guy has performed very well in practise this week he will beon the bench in the DKL. Game time decision I think.

Toomer is listed as questionable and has a minor injury - any updates would be appreciated.
