Detroit Lions
We were kind of looking forward to watching rookie running back Artose Pinner during preseason games, but we may not get to see too much of him. The Lions placed their fourth-round pick on the active non-football injury list Wednesday. According to the Detroit News, Pinner is still recovering from a broken right foot that he suffered during the Senior Bowl. No word yet on exactly how much longer he'll be sidelined.
James Stewart continues to be the Lions' number one back, but that may not be the case next year. Pinner represents an obvious replacement. In the meantime we'll get an extended look at Shawn Bryson and hopefully Luke Staley and Rafael Cooper this August.
At least Charles Rogers is in camp from day one. That's the more pressing fantasy concern anyway.
