well I'm not to sure about Browns value but I think you should trade him now. I think Horn would be fair value.

i am desperatley trying to dump chris brown. i think his best games this season are behind him. he, like the rest of the titans offense, is really banged up. what does the rest of the Cafe think? what is the word out of tennessee???

I traded Brown, D Bennett and Rattay for Mannning and E George.
Don't underestimate Volek, he's a good QB, Brown's value
is more dependent on his health than his QB, if teams try to
put 8 in the box to stop Brown, Volek can carve them up. If I
sound like Kerry, it's because I can take either side of the question and make a case.

I don't think Brown's value decreases becuase of McNair's injuries. Volek is a decent QB, and he actually gets the ball to Derek Mason better than McNair seems to.

I think Brown's value does decrease because of his recurring injuries. He's been down for a few weeks now. Will he be able to pick it back up?

I think this week v. Bengals will be a good indicator. They're last in run defense. If he can't get it done against them, he jsut can't get it done. If he doesn't, I think it will be hard to trade him for good value, because every keen owner will have clued into this.

If you want to trade Brown, best to do it now. If he fails this Sunday, his value goes in the pooper and you'll prolly have to hang onto him.

As for fair value: at WR - I'd consider Horn, Andre Johnson, maybe even buy low on Harrison or Holt if you find a still itchy owner, Roy Williams, CJ (values probably high right now), Javon Walker.

at QB - maybe Leftwich, Carr, Favre.

I traded Brown last week for Chad Johnson. Doubt I would be able to make that deal now.

Thanks again, but if I pull this trade I would have to rely on Dillon, Moore and Morris as my rb's in a td only money league? With my starting wr being Ward, Horn and D Jackson. Currently I'm 5-2. I think I'm leaning to pull the trigger.
