Someone recently challenged me that I couldn't break five minutes for a mile on an outdoor 400-meter track. Despite the guy being warned from some mutual friends not to take the $50 bet, he did, and I won easily despite already having three beers in me that beautiful Saturday afternoon. Of course the money went directly to more beer, but it was all good.

And my girlfriend says I'm too into fantasy football -- I laugh.

Ahhh I have a much easier way of getting the beer money. I wait for the guy to finish running a 4 min mile then I knock him on the head and take the cash :-)

I once ran a mile in 5 days....guess the beer had something to do with that too... :-)
