I would love to see the Vikings trade off Smith/Bennett to get some defensive studs & a decent RB backup (i.e., not Moe Williams).

You put some defense on that team, they could build a little dynasty.

What they should have done was traded someone to Miami. That would have been a golden opportunity,but now it looks like the Vikes will just be deep at the RB spot

Yeah I dont see any of them being traded maybe one cut but my guess is that he keeps them all.

What would you give for Bennett? So he's going nowhere. I think they would love to trade Smith. He is one joint from a year off and most coaches/front offices don't like that hanging over a player.

I think Bennett gets dealt. Some team will give a 2nd rounder for him.

The team likes Mewelde and Onterrio's receiving skills out of the backfield.

I understand why people think Michael Bennett is the one to go, but what can the Vikings possibly get for him with his injury issues? He's rarely ever healthy, and probably won't fetch much of a price. Smith, on the other hand, has played very well when called upon and doesn't have the same injury history.

However, one thing occurred to me...if Smith gets caught with drugs again, he's out for a full year. Will a team take that chance with him or will they get scared off?

No way in hell they move Moore.....you don't trade a rookie that talented, you ride his cheap azz contract. My money is on Bennett but it could also be OSmith

the one called "smelly hippie" is correct. (no dis... just a futurama line). Look at Clinton's cheap contract... he was getting paid about 350K a year... (funny... we all say "only 350k a year, and here I am making 6k washing dishes). Of of course, unlike the Denver situation, I believe that one Moore starts b*tching enough, give him a fair contract.

But now that I think about it... Bennett... Smith... Moore... even Williams at times have put up productive numbers. Could Minnesota be the new Denver as far as churning out RBs? I'm not saying any of them are any TDs or Droughns... but even still. How is Minny's o-line? And of course, there's always the fact that Minny has a great passing attack, which forces defenses to leave less in the box. So... Minny... new Denver?
