Football Predicts the Election

Postby roninmedia » Fri Oct 29, 2004 6:10 am

And the next president is...
Stat: Since voters elected Franklin Roosevelt to his first of four terms in 1932, the Redskins have forecast the next president of the United States. Over the past 18 elections, a Redskins victory in their last home game before Election Day has preceded a victory by the incumbent party. A home loss before the vote has preceded a loss by the incumbent party. The Redskins play host the Green Bay Packers in Week 8 on Sunday.

If the Skins don't win, I'm moving to Cancoon. If the Skins loose and Kerry wins there will be no need to move to Canada b/c we will be the same country. Scaaaaaaaaarrrrrryyyyyy

I think that instead of elections, Kerry and Bush have their own fantasy draft, and then the team they picked goes out and plays. Maybe Nader could have every 10th pick or something and could play the winner.

That would make it Kerry in a landslide, no?

Would it also mean that the Bush campaign has a weak, ineffective QB at the helm? Hmmmmm...
