I would like to hear about other teams with Great WRs Corp & your record in your league, i am 4-3 & currently ranked 5th over all in a 10 man league, i lost this week by less then 1 point, if i had won i would have still been #1 overall( Vick Killed me Again, i dropped him this week)
So lets hear it
Same record and rank as you... I have Owens/Ward/Holt/Toomer/K-Rob.
Started the season with: R.Moss, T.Holt, R.Williams, but soon trade williams before the season for a bigger name, Fitzgerald. I agree that most have bad records, but you are dead wrong on the rb situation
I started season with:
Q.Griffin
R.Johnson
L.Suggs
I am 6-1 now
I have since traded to get Edge, and now have M.Moore(my two starters are those two now) but I think my QB is what really put me on top. Since I got wr's early, I had to go on people i thought would blow up this year at qb, and I got Leftwich, who, with my wr's, has carried my teams.
Now my team is:
QB: Leftwich, carr, teste
WR: Moss, Fitz, Boldin, Burleson
RB: E.James, Mewelde, R.Johnson
TE: E.Johnson,Wiggins
K: Vinateiri
DEF: Atlanta
D: Suggs, Reed
Not the greatest WR corps in the world anymore, but I can see a bunch coming from them pretty soon(Boldin will step it up big time, and in his wake will leave a more-open fitzgerald, who will become a bigger name than roy williams.)
currently 4-3 and ranked 3rd overall in points/breakdown.
I took a chance this year in a 12 team league and i had the 10 pick. I went WR/WR/WR/RB... I really lucked out cause I got Tiki in the 6th or 7th round.
I don't think I'll ever do the WR thing again, but so far its kept me in the game. Whats really been killing me was playing bumm ass QBs like McInjured and Collins.
The league where I have the best receivers is a "point total" rotisserie league, but I'm 4th overall. They aren't exactly overpowering, but they're doing the trick:
Javon Walker
Hines Ward
Derrick Mason
Isaac Bruce
I probably should have been thinking trade earlier in the year, but now with a couple of BYE weeks coming up I might need to stay put.
