The guy has been hurt a lot and that worries me as a niner fan. I mean this is his third injury this year. I worried that no matter how good he is/can/could be, we won't be able to count on him in the future because of his tendency to hurt himself. But its only the first season so only time will tell.
anyway, Rattay will play. Remember game one against Atlanta where he dislocated his shoulder in the 2nd quarter? And then after Dorsey went down he came back in the 4th and lead the niners on 2 TD drives? Espn later listed him as having a mild concussion that game as well. For playing 1 full quarter, and 2 partial quarters, he still registered 175 yards and 2 TD's. Rattay will play Sunday.

well i wish i lived even remotely close to san fran. maybe i could get some tickets to some home games then. but no, sadly my above post is mere speculation and opinion.
I also have Rattay and Brooks on a bye. It would really suck o have to tart Rattay and not have him play. Should I go to waivers. Here's who I could get.
Palmer, Brunell, Volek, Fiedler, Mckown.
McNabb, McNair
D Davis, K Jones, Gado, Bennett
Chambers, Burress, Bryant, Moulds, Ferguson
LJ Smith, Kinney
Kasay, Feeley
Bills, Miami
I really haven't heard anything that makes me think that Rattay won't play. His forearm injury isn't as bad as it was at the end of exhibition season. My concerns with starting him are:
1) DaBears offense is so poor that Rattay won't have to play catch-up.
2) It isn't called the windy city for nothing. A night game in Soldier field isn't a QBs idea of heaven.
3) DaBears run D will allow Barlow to run around for 150+yards, again leading to less passing from Rattay.
Damn, I was going to start him.
I think, therefore I am. I think fantasy, therefore I am unreal?

hmmm... if Rattay is tart, what does that make other QBs?
yeah. I forgot about it being a night game and all.

The reason they are giving up the booty is also becuase their pro-bowl center is injured. He comes back soon I believe, and you'll see both the run game and pass game pick up because of it.
