Well, he's still getting treated for the ankle, but all indications is that he'll be in the game this week...after all, he played last week!
Yahoo! player update thing wrote:Oct 29 Williams (ankle) participated in the beginning of practice Thursday, went to the training room for treatment and was back on the field for the end of the session. "Sometimes, an ankle or a knee or any sort of sprain can nag if you continually play on it," coach Steve Mariucci told the Detroit News. "We're trying to freshen it up in between games and see if we can get a little bit of practice time."
Recommendation: It appears as if he'll be ready to go against Dallas on Sunday. Get him in the lineup, and if something should happen between now and then, and he has a setback, we'll pass along the information. - Rotowire

Sporting News reported that Roy Williams did not practice on Friday and therefore will not start on Sunday.
Reggie who? Swinton. Reggie Swinton. There you go.
Roy didn't practice but the word I here is the dreaded game time decision. I kind of hope they would rest him so he could heal, but I think they'll leave it up to Roy on Sunday. I will post something in this forum on Sunday as soon as I hear definitive word. I'll also mention it in the chat room, too.
I think, therefore I am. I think fantasy, therefore I am unreal?

30OCT04 Detroit Free Press on Roy Williams : The availability of Lions WR Williams for Sunday's game might not be determined until game time. Williams played last Sunday against the Giants but tweaked his sprained ankle and has practiced little this week. He said he would continue resting and rehabbing the ankle, with the hope he can play against the Cowboys. "I'm going with an open mind," Williams said. "Even if I don't play, we've got guys that can step up."
"Sometime during the Pats game last week, I decided that Tomlinson was the best overall running back of my lifetime. There's nothing he can't do: deadly receiver, tough inside runner, explosive to the outside, you name it." - ESPN's Bill Simmons
