Ever go swimming in muddy or cloudy water? It’s hard to see what’s right in front of you. A lot of drafts being done these days (mock or free) are being done to confuse less experienced FF Leaguers. If there is nothing riding on the draft i.e. money, reputation, trophy, there is no reason to draft accurately. Some guys just think it’s funny to take Jerry Rice #2 overall, others may be sand-bagging waiting for their ‘real’ draft, and others might be trying to make rookie leaguers over-value players by taking a D in the second round or by making J Garcia the first QB taken. If your reviewing results from a draft and you see something like Priest Holmes being drafted in the 2nd or 3rd round, don’t bother with it.
Even if the participants of the draft are not trying to ‘muddy the water’, and they are just inexperienced, it does no good posting the results of a poor draft that has nothing riding on it.
