I'm in a 12 team league...

I'm thinkin that i can snag 3 quality RB's with my first 3 picks and get Favre with the 4th round pick. That way i can spend my next few picks on receivers. First, what do u guys think of that strategy?...and second, how do u all think Favre will do this year? I think with his speedy receivers improving like i've been hearing, the sky's the limit for him. Thoughts?

I'd go Rb, RB...see which WR's are there in round 3...then maybe RB, QB. But if a stud QB falls into the 4th or 5th round you have to grab him. I've heard Culpepper being taken in the 4th round this year.. If that's true, Favre should be there in the 5th.

If you are going to go RB RB RB you have to grab a WR in the 4th and maye even teh fifth depending on which QBs are there. I would much rather have a solid nucleus with tom brady as my QB than favre, good RBs and nothing wr

you can wait until 6 or 7 to get a qb if you've joined a public league or if you know how the people in your league draft. I got Warner in the 5th and Brett Favre was picked up in the 8th as a backup! I would say to feel out the draft during the first 2 rounds and if only 2 qbs were taken, then take a rb or wr 3rd and 4th.

I think it's a great strategy. I saw it done in a mock draft. The guy went Priest Holmes, Stephen Davis, Troy Hambrick, then Koren Robinson, Laveranues Coles, then got Brett in the 6th round. Don't know if it would work out like that again but just play the draft good, if you can get 3 good quality RB's and still have a decent to good QB to fall back on it's a good deal.

IMO, QB's can be drafted LATE. I got Vick last year in the 8th round. If you go rb/rb/rb, than I think you have to get at least one wr, and probably spend your next pick on a wr as well.

I got Farve in the 11th in my draft. The Draft was with 10 ppl and it was all ppl from the cafe.

I just did a 14 team league (2 RB, 2 WR, RB/WR, WR/TE)
and I waited until the 11th round. I got Kerry Collins. No sweat.....
