Which Defense? Bucs or Colts?

Trying to decide which defense will get me the most points this week. Tampa Bay or Indianapolis.

Tampa is playing St. Louis
Colts are playing Houston.

We get points for:

TD = 6
Safety = 2
Int. = 2
Fumble Rec. = 2
Sack = 1

Points Allowed:
0-6 = 8
7-13 = 6
14-20 = 4
21-27 = 2
28+ = 0

Yards Allowed:
0-49 = 12
50-99 = 10
100-149 = 8
150-199 = 6
200-249 = 4
250-299 = 2
300+ = 0

Normally this is a no brainer. I go with the Bucs. But the Rams are in as much of a 'must win' situation that you can be in after 3 weeks. I feel that they will try to light it up this monday.

The Colts D has been struggling, but they are playing the Texans, who struggled a little last week.

Its a tough call for me. Thanks for your opinoins.

I would go with the bucs. On average over the past 2 to 3 seasons, the bucs have gotten about 3 interceptions per game against the rams. They will shut down marshall faulk to the point where the rams will start airing it out into a good bucs secondary.


Even though the colts are playing the texans, the texans will still move the ball effectively against the colts. Indy will not win the game by stopping the texans, it will because of Manning and the colt offense.

togo with the colts, althought he bucs might get a pick or two, the rams are still going to get their share of points and yards. The texans offense is so inept, guarantee of 5 to 6 sacks, and half the points and yards of the rams.
