What team will have the best defense this year? Anyone care to rank their top 5 predictions for defense?

I'm gonna go with the Carolina Panthers. Even with Simeon Rice's big year with Tampa, Carolina actually finished with 9 more sacks. This year Peppers will be even better than he was last year, and they have other good defensive lineman - Mike Rucker and Kris Jenkins. Carolina doesn't have a great secondary and the Bucs will probably get more INT but Carolina's more sacks equals more mayhem, more fumbles, and interceptions.

Here's my top 5:

1. Carolina Panthers
2. Tampa Bay Bucs
3. Pittsburgh Steelers
4. Baltimore Ravens
5. Philadelphia Eagles

My predictions are somewhat similar to those above, however, a little different order. I think that Tampa Bay will remain the dominant defense, and I also expect the Ravens to have an incredible season with Ray Lewis back to full strength (did you catch that ESPN interview? he's crazy...) So anyway, here goes...

1. Tampa Bay
2. Baltimore Ravens
3. Miami Dolphins
4. Philadelphia Eagles
5. Carolina Panthers

Thanks for the thoughts, Cornbread Maxwell - it's all bunched up with those teams and I'm in a 12 team league where we'll add emphasis to the defense this year. I can't remember the exact scoring procedures - we're still formulating the rules. I want to have a good defense and an ok back-up....
