who are some players you got who others gave up on early?

One guy waived (yes waived) Javon Walker after week 1, so I pounced on him. He still has not heard the end of it. I also picked up Meshawn 3 weeks ago after he was waived by a guy who Me has frustrated for years. Bet he's even more frustrated now. If only someone would drop a RB instead.

I waived Marcus Robinson just prior to Moss's injury and have been biting my own ass ever since....

on the positive side, I was able to pick up Brees after another waived him in week 2

I traded Moss and Westbrook...for Alexander, Collins and McCardell just prior to Week 5....and was taking jabs from my fellow league members up until last week....

now the only one Im taking jabs from is the guy I traded too (pissed off over the injuries)

I unfortunalty was the guy who dropped Plexiglass after 3 games but I did pick up E. Johnson for him so it hasn't worked out that bad.

the other player i got in one league was tiki barber. someone cut him after week 1, i nabbed him, and urprise surprise he's been a top 5 (maybe even top 3) RB since then, with something like 6 TDs and a good helping of both rushing and receiving yards.

I cant figure out why someone would draft him, then after he puts up 200 total yds and a td cut him?

That would be Willis McGahee for me.

I drafted Henry with the perception that Willis would not see the field for quite some time during the year. Well, I was right at the beginning...Henry was the man. So, some guy who drafted McGahee as a starter (because he drafted defenses, kickers and QB's too early and was stuck with him) got sick of him getting 0 for the first three weeks of the year. He dumped him, and then I figured I'd better get him because of the way Henry was playing. Well, now Willis is "the man" there and is showing some promise as a possibly servicable #2 RB.

I didnt pick him up but someone dropped duce staley after week 2 for Rashard Lee! This is also the guy who drafted tom brady with the 5th pick!

biggest mistake: dumping Whitten. Had Johnson & Wiggins already on roster. Opponent picked up Whitten & I lost the game 2 weeks ago.....because Whitten ended up with 24pts. Johnson 1 pt. Ouch. Hurry back Tim Rattay.
